The information we learn from customers helps us personalize and improve our On-Line Store. Here are the types of information we gather.

• Finanical Information: VanEss Expressions is extremely protective our our customer's financial information and does NOT collect or store ANY financial information thru our website or on our computers. Customers wishing to pay by credit card (other than thru PayPal) are directed to 'call in' their information. If we are unavailable at the time of the the call, callers are instructed to leave a call-back number and NOT their credit card information. Credit card information that is collected over the telephone is stored only if required by law, and totally outside any electronic devises.
• Information You Give Us: The information you provide when opening an account is used solely for such purposes as responding to your requests, filling orders, customizing future shopping for you, improving our 'store' features, and communication with you.
• Automatic Information: We do receive and store certain types of basic marketing information whenever you interact with our website and, like many web sites, we send, "cookies" (see below) to ease customer' access to our website.
• E-mail Communications: We use e-mails to communicate order and delivery confirmations and updates, and to respond to inquiries. We do not send any periodic, occasional, random or unsolicited e-mails to our customers. At this time we do not have a newsletter publication, but if at some point we do, we will only send to those customers who have specifically expressed an interest to receive such communications.

Even though your payment information is never captured on the website; your Account Information (home address, telephone number, e-mail address, etc) is. Thus, it is always important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your computer and passwords by 'logging off' when using a shared computer.
